Greater Fall River Emergency Medical Services Coordinating Committee Mission Statement
The mission of the Greater Fall River Emergency Medical Services Coordinating Committee (GFREMSCC) is to engage in activities that improve the delivery of emergency medical services in the greater Southcoast area of Region V. This mission will be served through training, advocacy, demonstration projects, annual EMS conference and a formal recognition of outstanding providers in the greater Southcoast area.
Mission Principles
- GFREMSCC will work within Region V, its territories as well as, other regions within the commonwealth to improve the delivery emergency medical services.
- GFEMSCC will recognize outstanding EMS providers in the delivery of emergency medical services through an establishment of selection committee/criteria.
- GFREMSCC will establish/conduct a yearly EMS conference which will include guest speakers, equipment vendors, and CEU opportunities for EMS providers.
- GFREMSCC will assist in preparing EMS providers and managers within the Southcoast area for emerging changes in health care delivery, and supporting EMS education and demonstration projects within the Southcoast area of Region V.
